10!

No more counting up!  It's time to count DOWN!

10 days until we leave.  We can finally count d-a-y-s on only two hands!

The to do list is getting shorter....and longer at the same time.  Ha!  But we are making progress :)

Paperwork.  Wrapping up work.  Packing.  Shopping.  Packing.  Scheduling a guide/driver. Dentist appointments for me and the dog.  Packing.

Today we received a scanned copy of our "Notice of Travelling" and I teared up when I read

"In accordance with the adoption law of the People's Republic....and the Convention on Protection of Children....we agreed that  (H), who is in the care of (orphanage), be placed with you for adoption."

Hallelujah!

"Please travel in person with this notice to the adoption registry office....to proceed the registration formalities."

Woohoo!  Finally!

Today we also received his airline "ticket" for his flight to the US :)  H will become a United States citizen when he steps off the airplane in Los Angeles on March 5!!
