CA (Consulate Appointment)!

After receiving our TA yesterday morning, our agency immediately requested a consulate appointment for us.  And this morning we received word that we officially have a CA - March 4!

With that confirmation, we were able to officially begin to work on our travel plans!  Yay!

K and I worked this morning, then spent the afternoon working with a travel agent to book our tickets to and from C* :) Lots of screens to keep track of lots of details!

The short of it?  We leave on February 17 (12 days from now!!) and will return on March 6!

 

With the tickets booked, we've been able to start working on other things that were dependent on the travel - notifying the State Dept. that we'll be in C*, requesting a flag to be flown at the Capitol in honor of H becoming a citizen of the United States, working on booking a guide for our first couple of days in country, getting travel insurance, etc.  

And the list goes on!  Lots to do, but we are SO thankful to be at this point!  In less than 3 weeks we should have H in our arms!
